Throughout the process from the boat to the dock, to the packing facility and freezer we only use the state of the art equipment to assure quality is maintained at the highest levels possible for all of our products.
We strive to get our product to our clients in a timely, affordable and efficient manner. We make it our goal and priority to make sure that each of our clients feel like they come first.
Started by Pete Guglielmo in 1994, Southern Cal Seafood has lasted in an industry where there is no guarantee that every fishing season will be as successful as the last. Pete took the knowledge that he learned from his father, John Guglielmo, who ran fishing boats and seafood restaurants in Sothern California, as well as the knowledge that he learned from being a commercial fisherman himself for many years and started his own company which quickly became and has always stayed competitive within the industry. The knowledge of running a successful business in the fishing industry has been passed down to a third generation of Guglielmo family members with Pete’s sons Ted, Darin and PJ venturing out and starting their own company Pacific Rim Fisheries in 2011.
Southern Cal Seafood has unloading docks throughout the coast of California located in San Pedro, Oxnard and Monterey. This keeps Southern Cal Seafood competitive and ready for wherever the best product may be.
Our team consists of a fleet of independently owned fishing vessels from all over the West Coast. Our Captains have a vast knowledge of the product, many having over 40 years of experience in the fishing industry.
Our processing and packing staff is dedicated and hard working to get the product out to our client in a timely manner.
Southern Cal Seafood sells and ships a wide variety of frozen seafood products to destinations all over the world. Southern Cal Seafood ships sardines, squid and anchovies; in the future they hope to also be shipping crab. As long as the seafood product is in season Southern Cal Seafood will be able to fulfill any needs you may have.
